One day introductory class to painting on glass

• Areas covered: glass cutting, mixing paints, painting technique and kiln firing

This course is designed for complete beginners. This class is for those who want to know how to paint on glass to enhance leaded stained glass panels. We will be practising traditional techniques used to make church and cathedral stained glass. Once the vitreous paint is fired in the kiln it becomes part of the glass and is permanent.

Price = £95 for the day, materials, refreshments and lunch included (9:00am – 4:30pm)

Afternoon and Evening Workshops

Monday & Wednesday afternoon and/or evening workshops are available to those who have completed an introductory workshop and want to develop their own projects under limited supervision. The sessions are bookable in blocks of 6 workshops and payable in advance, £20 per session (£120 advanced payment) covers use of studio and tools. Materials can be bought in advance from Noreen or bought from elsewhere.

Times: Mon/Wed: Session 1: 1.30pm – 4.30pm

Session 2: 6pm – 9pm

Terms and Conditions

Although it is very unlikely, it is possible for the classes to be cancelled at short notice with a full refund. If participants cancel less than 4 weeks beforehand they will be offered one alternative date or a 50% refund. No refund will be offered if less than 2 weeks’ notice is given of cancellation and an alternative course will be offered only if someone can fill the originally booked space.
